Legal counsel role within Invesco Asia Pacific Investments Legal team, providing high quality legal support to private markets funds business.
Responsibilities
- Structure, form, launch and maintain real estate and other alternative investment funds. Draft, review and negotiate fund documentation including PPMs, LPAs, subscription agreements, side letters. Provide legal advice on fund formation, governance, operations, distribution and investor relations. Coordinate with external legal counsel and tax advisors. Stay current on industry regulations.
Requirements
- 6+ years legal experience in investment management with emphasis on real estate or private equity fund formation. Previous experience at national law firm or as in-house counsel at leading asset manager. Strong understanding of alternative investment fund structures. Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills. Full professional proficiency in English; Mandarin or Cantonese ability is a distinct advantage.
