DarkLab Operations is a growing cybersecurity services firm delivering managed defence, advisory, and technology solutions to enterprise clients. We are seeking a Senior Engineer with strong foundations in software development and a working knowledge of emerging technologies to help build and evolve our internal platforms and client-facing tooling.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software systems and automation tools that support internal operations and client service delivery. Leverage modern development approaches including AI-assisted coding to accelerate delivery. Work with internal stakeholders to gather and refine requirements. Architect and manage data flows, ensuring clean data structures. Evaluate and integrate relevant third-party tools, APIs, and platforms. Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and engineering standards.
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on software development experience with strong command of data structures, algorithms, and system design. Proficiency in one or more backend languages (Python, Node.js, or equivalent). Demonstrated ability to pick up and apply new technologies quickly including AI-assisted development tooling. Strong understanding of the software delivery lifecycle. Experience in cybersecurity or adjacent domains preferred. Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) preferred.
