About this role
Goldman Sachs Structured Funding Derivatives (SFD) desk established in 2001 as a global investing and trading business in structured financing. Originates and makes markets on credit asset classes, structures bespoke financing solutions including Total Return Swaps, Repos, Repacks and Structured Notes.
Responsibilities
- Structuring and Diligence - working on secured lending transactions across TRS, Repos, Collateral Swaps, Repacks, Structured Notes. Documentation - working with legal for preparation of term sheets and review of complex legal documents. Product development - monitor market developments and devise novel financing features. Model and research development - develop financial models for transaction execution. Active risk management and monitoring across the book.
Requirements
- Strong academic record with Bachelor's degree or above in technical discipline (Maths, Physics, Engineering, Economics or Management). 3-5 years prior experience in investment banking/financial services in trading or structuring. Structured products or lending experience. Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Financial modeling skills. Technology skills including Excel and Python preferred.
